A headless angel stands,
his robes falling away to reveal his true, exposed nature.
The once-flowing garments now lie in tatters,
symbolising the unveiling of his deception.
Two wings are attached to his body,
while two others float above, unattached,
giving him an eerie, detached presence.
His wrist is adorned with gold jewellery,
a false symbol of divinity, masking the darkness within.
This angel, seemingly an agent of light,
is in fact a deceiver; his true form now revealed.
"Be Not Afraid" portrays the illusions of righteousness.
